This single-jointed mouthpiece is flat and angled and can exert high pressures. It is important that this bit is fitted in the correct orientation. The action of flat plates, links, or cannons will depend on mouth conformation and the working angle of the bit. Careful consideration before use is recommended. Bit keepers should be used to prevent against the long arms becoming caught and to minimise movement in the mouth.
